Highlighting words in a letter or the narrative report
The letter box and the narrative report box have a highlighter on the formatting bar: the ab button.
- Highlight words: click ab, then drag over the words. The pointer turns into a highlighter and stays on, so you can drag over as many places as you like. Click ab again or press Esc to stop. Double-click a word to highlight just that word.
- Already selected the words? Click ab and they're highlighted at once.
- Another color: click ▾ next to it and pick yellow, green, blue, pink or orange. Claimsfy remembers the color on that computer.
- Take a highlight off: choose No highlight under ▾, then drag over the highlighted words. Only the words you drag over lose it. Clear formatting takes all formatting off the selected words, highlight included, and Ctrl+Z (⌘Z on a Mac) undoes the last highlight.
- Phone or tablet: with the highlighter on, drag sideways across the words. Up and down still scrolls the page.
- Nothing happens? A letter waiting for a supervisor's approval is locked, highlighter included. Withdraw to edit unlocks it.
- In the downloads: highlights go into the PDF (the download and the copy that's mailed), the Word file and Copy.
