Narrative reports with no template (Field)

Claimsfy Field

The Narrative tab has two ways to write the report:

  • 📄 Complete a template. Claimsfy fills in each section of a carrier template or the Claimsfy default.
  • ✍ Tell Claimsfy what to write. When the claim has no template to complete, the adjuster types or dictates (🎙 Dictate) what the report should say, such as findings, cause of loss, recommendations and anything to point out. Claimsfy then writes the report.

A claim opens on ✍ Tell Claimsfy what to write when no saved template applies to it. Adjusters can switch either way, and the choice is kept on the claim.

The report is written from the adjuster's instructions plus the claim file:

  • the notice of loss and inspection notes
  • the photos: their labels, and the images themselves when they can be sent (damaged photos first)
  • the sketch and the estimate
  • the policy and the coverage determination
  • the documents marked Use in drafting, including scanned pages

Adjusters can choose the length, choose headings or paragraphs only, and untick any source.

Anything the file can't support is left as [ADJUSTER TO CONFIRM]. Those items are also listed under the panel, and tapping one finds it in the report. The report goes into the same Report box as before, so Revise, Read aloud, Download, Reports and Send back all work on it, and ↶ Undo brings back the previous version.
