Claimsfy Desk: what it is
A separate edition of Claimsfy for a desk claims team. It doesn't change your main Claimsfy, the Field edition, or their data: it has its own server, accounts and claims.
- Desk adjusters see only their own claims: the claims they own and the ones they're assigned to. The server enforces this, so it can't be got around from a browser.
- Supervisors and administrators see every claim and assign and reassign them, from the team page or from the claim itself.
- Vendor portal: the adjusting firms and experts you dispatch to (engineers, mitigation, mold remediation, lightning strike specialists, contents specialists, appraisers, building consultants) sign in to work only the assignments sent to them. Their status updates, messages and files come back to the claim's Inspection tab.
- Client portal (optional): your carrier and TPA clients sign in to follow their claims, download the reports you share, message the adjuster and approve authority. Each company sees only its own claims. It's off until an administrator turns it on.
One interface. Claimsfy Desk has only the desk adjuster interface; there's no interface picker. Desk doesn't take in new assignments: Received, Metrics and Carriers & TPAs are part of Claimsfy Claims. Field adjusters use Claimsfy Field: send them work from the Dispatch tab, and their inspection comes back with the send-back link.
Desk adjusters get the full desk interface: notice of loss, activities, dispatch, the Inspection tab (with photos, sketch, estimate and narrative), coverage, reserves, payments, letters, notes and templates, and reports.
Note templates of their own: on the Notes tab, each desk adjuster can write new note templates (Templates → New template), or turn a note they've written into one (Save as template on the note). The claim's names, numbers and dates are changed to fill-in fields, so the template works on the next claim. Templates are saved to that person's account and follow them to any device. Other desk adjusters can't see or change them.
Write with AI on every note: in the note form, Write with AI writes the note from its template (the adjuster's own or a standard one), the claim file, the contact details and a few quick notes the adjuster types. It only uses facts from those. Anything it can't confirm is listed separately, outside the note, and can be added to the end of the note or made the follow-up task. AI must be turned on (see AI for every user).
Easier scrolling in long files: notes collapse to a single line each, with Collapse all and Expand all. The newest note stays open. A note you're writing can be minimized while you read back through the file, or made bigger when it's a long one.
