Carrier letter rules (Letters)
Under ⚖ Letter review → Company and carrier letter rules, supervisors and administrators keep three kinds of rules:
- All states: wording your company requires in every letter.
- The claim's state: wording for that state, including your own approved Department of Insurance paragraph.
- The claim's carrier: wording that carrier requires in its letters, in every state. For example, its claims phone line, its appraisal paragraph or its non-waiver language.
Each rule can be checked word for word, by words the letter must mention, or by the adjuster confirming it. A rule applies to the letter types you pick. Insert adds the wording above the signature. A carrier's rules apply only to that carrier's claims, matched by the carrier name on the Notice of Loss.
