Read with Claimsfy (scanned documents)

Every edition

PDFs with a text layer are read on upload. Scanned PDFs and photos of documents show "Scanned PDF · needs Read with Claimsfy".

  1. Open Documents and press Read with Claimsfy on the document.
  2. Claimsfy transcribes it page by page. Handwriting it can't read is marked [illegible].
  3. Once read, the text is used everywhere: notice of loss, narrative, reviews.

If reading stops partway on a very long scan, read it again: pages already read are kept. "Image reading isn't available in this view" means you opened Claimsfy inside another app; open it in a browser.
