Claimsfy Desk

Field Estimate Review (Desk, after Inspection) reviews the field adjuster's estimate before you approve it.

  1. The estimate: this claim's estimate (Inspection → Estimate), or the FA's PDF, Excel or text file.
  2. Guidelines: ⬆ Upload guidelines (PDF, Word or text). Save them to the team's library for every claim of that carrier, or for this claim only. Guidelines for the claim's carrier are selected automatically.
  3. ▶ Review the estimate. With guidelines, findings quote the rule they rest on. With no guidelines on file, Claimsfy reviews against standard estimating practice, the policy, the photos and the sketch.
  4. Mark each finding Agree, Ask the FA or Dismiss, then Approve, Approve with corrections or Return to field adjuster. A review note goes to Notes, and corrections can go to the field firm in the vendor portal.

Without AI, the automatic checks still run (duplicates, missing prices, O&P, depreciation, roof quantities vs the sketch, photos per area). Long guidelines are fine: the most relevant sections are used. Scanned guidelines are read with AI.
