Clients, handling instructions and loss funds (TPA)

Claimsfy TPA

The 🏢 Clients tab lists the companies you handle claims for: carriers, MGAs, self-insured employers, public entities, other TPAs and independent adjusting firms. Administrators set up each one:

  • Contacts and service deadlines (contact within, inspect within), and each client's own submission link for new claims.
  • Handling instructions for examiners, shown on every one of that client's claims.
  • Reporting: initial reserve within (days), a status report to the client every (days), and who loss runs and reports go to.
  • Authority: the client's reserve authority; above it, reserve changes go to the client for approval in the portal.
  • Loss fund: alert below, replenish up to, and the email replenishment requests go to.

On each claim, the 🏢 Client panel shows the client's instructions, authority and loss fund balance. If a claim came in without a client, choose it there (Which client is this claim for?). Record payment pays from the client's loss fund.

💰 Fund (on the Clients tab) is each client's loss fund ledger: deposits, payments, refunds and adjustments, with the balance and the total paid. When the balance falls below the alert amount, the Clients tab and the Claims Queue say so, and ✉ Request replenishment drafts the email for the amount that brings it back up. ⬇ Fund statement (CSV) downloads the ledger.

📄 Loss run (on the Clients tab) lists the client's claims as of a date, with each claim's reserve, paid and incurred amounts and totals. Filter by date of loss, open or all claims, then:

  • ⬇ CSV or ⬇ PDF to send it yourself
  • ⬆ Share to the client portal: the client's portal users download it under Reports
  • email a summary to the client's report contacts
