Launch it (QA)

Claimsfy QA

1. Put it online

Render (simplest):

  1. Put this folder in a GitHub repository (private is fine).
  2. In Render, choose New → Blueprint and pick the repository. Render reads render.yaml.
  3. Enter ADMIN_PASSWORD, your administrator password; the username is admin. Optionally enter:
    • ANTHROPIC_API_KEY for AI drafting.
    • APP_URL, the address your team will use, such as https://claims.yourcompany.com/. Email links, including password resets, point there. You can fill it in after you add your domain.
  4. Deploy.

Any server with Node 18+:

ADMIN_PASSWORD=pick-a-strong-one SESSION_SECRET=long-random-text node server/server.js

Put it behind HTTPS before using it over the internet.

Docker:

docker build -t claimsfy-qa . && docker run -p 8080:8080 -v claimsfy-qa:/data -e ADMIN_PASSWORD=... -e SESSION_SECRET=... claimsfy-qa

2. Add your team

Sign in as admin, then add people in 👤 → 👥 Manage users:

  • Supervisor: sees and assigns every claim.
  • QA reviewer: sees their own and assigned claims.

Each person gets a temporary password and chooses their own at first sign-in.

Or open 👤 → 🗂 QA team & assignments, turn on the sign-up link, and send it out. People who sign up become QA reviewers; make supervisors in Manage users. Turn the link off when everyone is in.

3. Assign files

  • From the team page (supervisors and administrators): every claim, with its status and QA reviewer. Choose a name in the QA reviewer column to assign or reassign it. Not assigned filters claims nobody owns; Download list gives a spreadsheet.
  • New QA review (or + New QA review on the queue) asks for the claim number, the insured and Property or Auto. The field adjuster's file comes in on the QA Summary.

A supervisor's computer downloads only the claims they work on or open. To keep every claim on that computer, tick Keep every claim on this device on the team page.
