Printing the estimate in any format
🖨 Print… on the Estimate tab (and 🖨 Print options… in Reports) opens one window for printing or downloading the estimate.
- Pick a format: Complete estimate, Policyholder copy, Contractor copy, Scope only (no prices), Carrier file copy, Summary only, Line items only, Recaps, Depreciation detail, Photos & sketch, or Pick reports… to choose any of the estimate reports. Under each format it says which reports it prints. Field adjusters see the formats they can print (the final draft, photos and measurements).
- Line items: Group lines by room, category or coverage, or Not grouped. When lines are grouped by category or coverage, each line shows its room in brackets. Tick the columns to print, or use a quick set: All columns, No depreciation, Totals only, Depreciation. Description and quantity always print. You can also choose the line item explanations, and turn category and item codes, line numbers and the list of items not covered on or off.
- Pages: Letter, Legal or A4; Portrait or Landscape (landscape gives wide column sets more room); 1, 2 or 3 photos per page.
- Preview: the first pages show on the right and change as you pick.
- Print or download: 🖨 Print, ⬇ PDF, ⬇ Excel (a sheet per report), ⬇ Word or ⬇ CSV. The file is named after the claim number and the format, for example CLM-123_contractor_copy.pdf.
- Remembered: your last format and options are kept on that computer for next time.
- Reports tab: 🖨 Print prints the report on screen as it looks there. 🖨 Print options… opens the print window with that report picked. The options don't change the Reports preview or the regular downloads.
- No print window? Some browsers block printing inside other pages. Use ⬇ PDF and print the PDF.
