Claimsfy Carrier: what it is
The edition of Claimsfy for an insurance carrier's own claims department. It has its own server, accounts and claims. (For a third-party administrator handling claims for clients, use Claimsfy TPA.)
What it covers:
- Your claims team runs on it:
- Examiners handle the claims they're assigned.
- Claims managers (supervisors) see everything, assign and reassign.
- Intake coordinators receive new claims and send out inspections.
- Everyone uses the same examiner interface; there's no interface picker. Its tabs are the queue, Notice of Loss, Dispatch, Inspection, Contacts, Policy & Coverage, Financials, Documents, ALE (property claims) and History; there are no Payments, Letters, Notes or Reports tabs. Claims managers, intake coordinators and administrators also get the New claims, Metrics and 🌀 Storms tabs.
- Field adjusters work in Claimsfy Field. Send inspections to your staff field adjusters or to independent firms and experts from the Dispatch tab; the inspection comes back to the Inspection tab through the vendor portal or the send-back link.
- Policyholders and agents report claims online through your report-a-claim page (first notice of loss, with photos). Reports land in New claims for intake.
- State claim deadlines on every claim (⚖): acknowledge, decide, pay and status letters by the loss state's rules, plus your own service standards. See Claim deadlines.
- Storm events with live claim counts (🌀): each storm's claims by state on a 50-state map, with a data-call download. See Storm events.
- Large-loss alerts (🔺) when a claim's reserve reaches your threshold.
