How Claimsfy AI works

Every edition

Claimsfy AI labels photos, drafts estimates, writes narratives and notes, reads scanned documents and reviews estimates. On a team server it runs through the server with one company key, so everyone who signs in gets it automatically. Nobody enters a key on their own device, and the key never reaches a browser.

Turn it on (administrator): in Render, open the service's Environment, add ANTHROPIC_API_KEY with the company's key and save. Render restarts the service and AI is on for everyone.
On a test computer: the start file asks for the key the first time and keeps it in ai-key.txt next to it. Delete that file to change the key.
Check it: 🤖 AI setup (⋯ More → AI setup) says "Connected to your team server … AI runs through the server's key".
Every AI request is logged in 🕘 History with who made it.
Who gets it: staff only. Client and vendor portal users never use AI.
Field adjusters need a connection for AI. Everything else works with no signal.
