Training and certification (Claimsfy Academy) (Carrier)

🎓 Training & certification in the name menu opens Claimsfy Academy: four levels of lessons and exams built into the software.

• Lessons are free for every user. Each exam unlocks after the level's lessons and the level before it.
• Exams need a voucher for that level. Each voucher works once, only in this workspace, and gives two attempts. Questions are drawn at random and graded on the server; 80% passes.
• Certificates are valid for two years. People print them or save them as PDFs, add them to LinkedIn, and anyone can check one at claimsfy.com/verify.html or by scanning its QR code.
• Team progress (supervisors and administrators) shows each person's lessons, certificates, certificates expiring within 60 days, and who has taken the tour.

Turn on exams (once, for all your workspaces)

1. On your computer, in this folder, run node tools/academy-keys.js. It prints three values. Keep the first two somewhere safe, like a password manager.
2. On every workspace (Render → Environment), set CERT_SIGNING_KEY and CERT_VOUCHER_SECRET to those values, and make sure APP_URL is set. Vouchers are tied to the host name in APP_URL.
3. Paste the third value, certPublicKey, into site.js on claimsfy.com so certificates can be verified there.

When someone buys vouchers

CERT_VOUCHER_SECRET=... node tools/make-vouchers.js --workspace yourcustomer.claimsfy.com --level 2 --count 5

On Windows, run set CERT_VOUCHER_SECRET=... first, then node tools\make-vouchers.js .... Email the codes to the customer. Each person enters theirs on the level's page.

Without the keys, lessons still work and exams say they aren't turned on yet. The start files on this computer use practice mode (ACADEMY_DEMO=1): exams need no voucher and certificates are marked PRACTICE.
